Generation 6, Chapter 25 : Autumn Festivities.

Twinbrook took a new turn in it's weather recently which really shocked me. The trees turned a orange/red colour fairly quickly and even started to shed their leaves.

Also, the fall festival from Appaloosa Plains arrived in Twinbrook and created quite a lot of excitement for the town.

Lindsey somehow convinced me to take her to the brand new haunted house in the festival so she could see what it was like.

''Be careful honey, you don't know what the hell is in there.'' I said pulling her in for a big hug.

''Mum! I'm not scared at all...''

''She smiled at me and strolled up to the door of the house. She peaked in a bit and shivered.

''Okay, this may be a bit scary.'' I heard her murmur to herself. I knew she didn't meant to make me hear that so I didn't say nothing and instead turned to look at the other activities in the festival.

''Okay... that was kind of scary...'' She said before walking back to me.

Again, she then somehow convinced me to enter the pie-eating competition with her.

''I can't do this.'' I said getting into position, hesitantly.

''Yes you can mummy, just place your head directly above the pie and stuff yourself!'' She then says.

''Fine.'' I said frowning at her. Just as I said that the bell rang.

Chunk after Chunk became worst. More pie was on my face than in my stomach. I looked over to Lindsey who was also having a hard time digesting the pie.

''YES! I won!; I won!'' I heard her cheer out as the bell rang once again.

''Good job Lin-''

I stopped talking and bolted for the park toilet... but didn't get there in time. I vomited up my entire lunch and the pie on my plain grass. I felt so disgusting and embarrassed at the same time.

''Hi there-'' Harrison called out from behind us, we turned around and he looked at us in complete shock. ''...What the hell happened to you two?'' He asked.

''Lindsey convinced forced me to enter the pie-eating competition and let's just say... it kind of went wrong.''

''But I won daddy!'' Lindsey shouted out.

''That's my girl!!'' He said to her.

''Now, don't you think you pie faces should clean up?'' He said cheekily while laughing at us.

''Shut it Mr., or I'll get Robin and Declan to hide your favourite pants.''

''Oh you wouldn't dare.'' He said.

''Oh yes I would.''

After out mini fake argument, Lindsey asked us if we could pick her some Jack - o - Lanterns for Spooky Day.

''How many do you want Linds?'' Harrison asked her.

''Five please!''

~^~

Many hours later Robin and Declan joined us at the pier and we all watched the sun set.

''It's stunning.'' Robin said.

''It's aright.'' Declan said.

''It's pretty!'' Lindsey said.

''Speaking of pretty, don't you guys think your mother looks pretty today?''

''She certainly does.'' They all said in sync.

''Aww! Thanks you guys.'' I turned to Harrison and pulled him in an embrace. ''Your just to wonderful.'' I say to him.

''I know.'' He says with a grin.

Seconds later it began to pour heavily down with Rain, luckily we had our umbrellas so we didn't get to wet.

~^~

After we had dinner someone I hadn't of guessed it would be showed up at our door. I rubbed the steam of the glass door and looked through to see who it was at the door. I screamed in excitement and immediately opened the door.

''NADINE!'' I shouted out.

''CASSIDY!'' She replied. She pulled me in for a big hug and I could feel the water from her coat rub against me.

Once we finished greeting each other I led her inside the house where she saw Harrison and also ran to him to hug him.

''Harrison! How are you?''

''Nadine, god it's been so long. I'm great thanks, just about to cook dinner, you can stay if you like?''

''I would love to but I have to meet my father at the airport in a hour.''

''So! How are you Nadine? God it's been like three years since we've seen each other!''

''I know, oh my god it really has; we must catch up! I've been great thanks, Tasha recently moved out of the house so it's quite boring at home with Austin.''

''Oh sorry, well we've got a full house here!''

''Oh yes! How is the twins and Lindsey?'' She asked.

''Their great thanks, there in the garden playing on the trampoline.''

''Okay. Uh... Cassidy I need to tell you something really important, and exciting.''

''What is it?''

''I'm pregnant!''

''What? When? How?''

''Austin and I decided to start trying for another baby seeing as Tasha is all grown up now. At first I thought I was a bit to old but we thought it over and we decided to try. Three weeks later I took a pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant!''

''That is so great Nadine, I'm going to be an aunt again!'' I screamed in excitement.

''Congratulations Nadine!'' Harrison said in the background.

''Hold that thought...'' She said answering her phone.

I could hear her in the distance. ''....Yeah Dad I'm jut leaving now, I'll be there in twenty minuets.''

''I'm really sorry Cassidy but I have to go now, I'll come back tomorrow and we can go baby shopping!''

''Sure Nadine, I'll be here!''

We said out goodbyes and she left. It was nice to catch up with my best friend again after so many years.

~^*^~

A month went passed, I did meet up with Nadine again and we went shopping for clothes and such. Spooky Day approached and Lindsey just kept on getting more and more excited.

Harrison and I both took her Trick-or-treating and she got a bucket full of sweets! She was so happy and she definitely caught a sugar rush on those sweets!

Generation 6, Chapter 24 : We all have to grow up one day.

The sleepy swamp-like town of Twinbrook was slowly becoming a metropolitan. They builders have been creating new road over train tracks and filling in swamps to create high story apartments. Although all of these renovations were happening it didn't really affect us because all of that was going on in the country side of the town; However the renovation are thought to be coming to the main areas of Twinbrook soon.

There was one really big thing I was noticing also in Twinbrook, the weather had slowly beginning to become seasons instead of Sun all day around. Occasionally we would get grey skies and light rain which indicated a sudden change in the weather soon...

Robin, Declan and Lindsey were the best children you could ever have. They were well behaved and mannered and more importantly they all got along with each other which made Harrison and I very happy.

As the boys grew more and more they sealed a perfect relationship with each other. When Robin was down Declan had his back and when Declan was down Robin had his back. Their great relationship made me hope that they kept their special bond forever.

What frightened me the most was that I could sense girls would affect their relationship in their teens years.

I eventually got a lot of time off work and devoted my days to spending time with my little girl. Lindsey learnt very rapidly, quicker than other toddlers in her nursery.

''Lindsey can you read for mummy?''

''Yes! There was twou sheeps called Lola and Wachel and they were best fweinds.''

''Good girl!!''

Harrison was much higher than me in his job so he already had many days in the week off to spend with Lindsey. Lindsey loved to tug on Harrison's bright red hair which obviously annoyed him but made me laugh. To bad she has my hair colour because I'nm pretty sure she would tug on her own hair.

Just before the twins left Primary school they both received a scouting trophy for their amazing work in their school club.

I was so proud of them, and Lindsey.

~^~

It's surprising how four years passed by so quickly. The twins, who are now fifteen, have both developed their own personalities and are quite different now. Lindsey, who is now nine, is quite the interesting girl.

In my opinion she is in the middle of being a girly - girl and a tom boy which makes her in my words 'the interesting girl'. She is incredibly smart and is quite charismatic, one thing she get's from her father. She is also  shy like Robin; they got that both from me sadly.

As everyone continued to grow so did Harrison and I. I recently turned forty-one and I started to notice visible ageing marks on my face.

''Oh my god, I'm turning into an old goat!'' I said examining the slight wrinkles on my face.

Harrison walked over to the mirror and smiled at me.

''No you don't Cassidy, you've just aged, you are still the beautiful brunette a love and cherish.''

''Aww, you always know exactly what to say to make me all happy.'' I say stroking his soft, but wrinkly cheek.''

''That's because I was born a Smith, and the Smiths are caring loving people.''

''Well that explains your mother then.'' I say to him, smiling.

''I'll pass on that compliment to my mother later on.'' He says kissing me.

The next morning I was woken up by the deepen voices of my boys.

''Yes boys?'' I say ruffling my hair into place.

''Muuuuuuuuuuuum.'' Declan moans out.

''What!? What's wrong?''

''We need our own rooms.'' They both said in sync. This was about the two-hundredth time they brought up the topic of getting their own rooms.

I sighed and brushed off the covers from my leg.

''Boys, the only way you two would get your own rooms is if we moved to a new house and we don't have the money for that.''

''But-'' Robin moaned out like Declan.

''But nothing Robin, now the only way you would get your own room or a bigger room is if you swap rooms with Lindsey and I doubt that will happen.''

''LINDSEY.'' Robin shouted out trying to get her to wake up.

Minuets later Lindsey busted in like she literately just woke up, which she did.

''What do you losers want?'' Lindsey said, I was about to scold her for calling them losers but I could clearly see why she said that: Just like me her father she isn't a morning person.

''Lindsey Maria Cronwell, I'm, uh.... we are litteratly begging you, PLEASE swap rooms with us. Our room is way to small for us and you have such a big loft room with so much space.''

She looked into his eyes and laughed.

''You really think I'm going to trade my lovely big comfy room for your little stuffy one. You clearly should of took that room when you were younger so to bad.''

''Please!'' He begged.

''But if you were to do a little something for me I'd be happy to trade with you.'''

''Like what missy?'' Declan asked.

''Robin, you have to clean my new room and Declan, you have to iron my school clothes for me.''

''What! Until when?'' They asked.

''Until the day you graduate.''

After a lot of contemplating, they agreed.

''Deal.'' They both said shaking her hand.

I got and rubbed me head.

''Oh what a joy it is to have three babies in this house.''

''Mum! I'm fifteen year old.''

''And know but your still my baby at heart.'' I pulled him in for a big hug and nearly suffocated him.

~ Robin's Point of View ~

At school life was pretty different. First of all there was only three people in my class and 50 people in the school. Your probably wondering why? Well Declan and I were enrolled into an advanced Secondary school because of how fast we advanced in Primary school.

In our class there was only Declan, the other girl called Rosana and I. Over the past months I noticed Declan took quite a liking to Rosana.

''Psst. Declan.''

''Yes?'' He said concentrating on the work he was doing on his tablet.

''Rosana giving you the eye you know!'' I shuffled over and whispered to him.

''No she wasn't.''

''Yes she was, you should totally ask her out.''

He looked round at her and smiled at the sight of her. ''Yeah, maybe I will ask her out.''

''Great! I'll be your wingman.''

''What experience do you have?''

''Lots.''

''Lola the monkey doesn't count you know.'' Lola is this monkey I sleep with at night and I haven't practised kissing on her.

''Shut up and go ask her out.''

Minuets later the bell rang and Declan went over to her. I couldn't hear what they were saying but I could tell he wasn't making a fool of himself.

I stepped slightly closer to hear better.

Hi...uh I'm Declan Cronwell, I've seen you around and I just wanted to say Hi.'' He said casually.

''Hey there Declan, you seem like a kind boy...we should get to know each other.'' She winked at him causally.

We both stopped out of her way as she strolled through the door.

''Great job Declan, you introduced yourself nicely and simply.''

''You sure I didn't do bad?'' He asked with a worried voice.

''Hell no! I'm sure she likes you but...''

''But what Robin?''

''Can I try my luck on her?''

''Sure, just like you always do to these girls I like.'' He said and rolled his eyes. He nodded his head to signify  that I could.

''Thanks mate.'' I said patting him on the shoulder.

''There she is.'' I said noticing her putting her bag in her locker.

''Go then.'' Declan says pushing me.

''Fine. Fine.''

All I can say is that it didn't go so well. To be honest she is a real bitch and I don't know what Declan see in her.

Maybe it was me?

Nah it probably weren't.

''So I'm guessing it didn't go so well then?'' Declan asked before laughing.

''Shut up Declan. I don't know what you see in her mate, she's a right bitch.''

''Maybe it's just you Robin.''

''...It's definitely not me...''

''Yeah, in your world.'' He mutters under his breath.

Generation 6, Chapter 23 : Just living life.

Life changed since the crash.

Other than Declan's Asthma problem, Declan and I completely recovered from our injuries. Just a week after Lindsey was born she was allowed to come home with us after being scanned for nay internal injuries which may have been created.

Declan is very cautious about his health when he goes outside into to the col especially as the weather in Twinbrook is suddenly changing...

Lindsey was a quite little baby, she wasn't whiny or clingy, instead she calmly slept in her crib without screaming the house down.

As the months passed on Lindsey grew bigger and bigger. To my absolute surprise she inherited my mother eyes instead of mine, Like the twins. She also has freckles like Harrison and she predominantly had my hair colour wit red highlights from her father.

Even as a toddler Lindsey wasn't clingy at all, until I had to back to work...

Since I took such a long maternity leave with the twins I was only allowed 6 months with Lindsey, which meant I was forced to leave her with a nanny.

Lindsey automatically knew somehow that I was going to be leaving her today and she became extremely clingy towards me.

She couldn't talk yet but I clearly knew what she was thinking.

''I'm sorry Lindsey but mummy needs to go work now.''

She began to whine, I kissed her forehead and put her down on the floor.

''I'm sorry Lindsey.'' I shut her door and I could hear er crying. I tear came from my eye as I felt so guilty yet we needed more money to pay the basic bills.

I could picture her innocent little face staring at the door as a walked out of it. It must of broke her heart to see her me leave like I was never coming back.

Five hours later I literately ran home to comfort my little girl. I grabbed the keys out of my pocket and jabbed them into the door. I threw my bag onto the table in the hallway and ran upstairs.

After hugging her for ten minuets I brought her down stairs where I found Declan in the kitchen doing his homework.

''Hey mum, how was your first day back at work?'' Declan asked with a big smile on his face.

''Great thank you Declan, there was this man and he has the most deep-'' He stopped me with a face full of disgust.

''Sorry mum but all the gory stories of Twnbrook Hospital makes me physically sick.''

''Sorry Declan, I have knew you were squeamish! I'll just tell your brother then.''

Just as I was about to go over to Robin, Harrison strolled in with a big smile on his face.

''How come you are so dandy Harry?''

''First of all, you haven't called me Harry for five years; secondly I got a promotion today!''

''That's great honey!'' I pulled him in for a kiss.

''Hello! I still am here!'' Robin called out beside me, poor thing thought I forgot about him.

''How's my little read head today?'' I ask him while pulling him in for a tight hug.

''Fine thanks mum, I finally know what I want to be!''

''That's amazing Robin, so what do you want to be?'' I asked curiously. I knew what Declan wanted to be, a scientist and I'm pretty sure Lindsey has a musical career in her future but with Robin he never showed what he loved.

''An Architect. I've recently took such a good liking to Designing houses and I think I would like to do that in the future.''

''Well that is just amazing Robin, just remember that if you want something and your work hard enough for it, your destined for that very thing.''

''Okay.''

Robin then started to play with Lindsey. I was pleased that all of our children had such a good relationship with each other, unlike other family who literately hate their siblings.

All the kids were asleep by 10:00pm and Harrison and I needed to talk about things. I changed into something more comfortable and adjusted my pillow so I could relax on the bed.

''Cassidy we need to make some arrangements with Lindsey.''

''I know, she seems so sad with us rushing out to work every morning.''

''I have a idea!'' He said.

''Why don't you try and shorten your shifts down to 2:00pm and then I can work later into the evenings so at least one of us is here everyday with Lindsey.''

''That's a perfect idea Harrison, you smart little red head.''

I couldn't stop staring into his eyes and somehow without any words he seduced me.

''You know Cassidy we haven't...''

''Haven't what?''

''You know what, we haven't had sex since Lindsey was born.''

''What about now, the kids are asleep and the house is nice and quiet.''

''Okay..'' He gently placed himself on top of me and began kissing me.

That night we were intimate for the first time in a long time and I enjoyed it, quite a lot.

~^~
3RD PERSON

''Robin....'' Declan called out to him.

''Yeah?'' Declan said as he sat down on the other chair in their room.

''I think mum and dad were at it again last night...'' Declan shook his head in disgust.

''I know, but I found earplugs in the bathroom cabinet and put them to good use.''

''Don't you think we should mention something to them?'' Delcan asked.

''Yeah but they might be offended  Wait, what if they are trying for another baby!? This house is too small for another person unless the baby shared with Lindsey.''

''I know but I doubt there trying for another one because I was talking to day yesterday and he said to me three children is all he ever wanted.''

''Good because I don't want any more siblings...'' Robin said.

''Wait! I have an idea!'' Robin said once again.

''What!?'' Declan said with excitement on his face.

''We should try and send them on a romantic holiday or something so they can have some time away from use so they can do their business where no one can hear them.

''To right Robin, maybe one day we will.''

''You do realise you would have to organize the romantic holiday for them because I have no idea how to book a holiday...''

''Neither do I....'' Declan replied.

''I guess they will just have to do their business here.''

''Yeah....'' ''....Anyway Robin enough about S-E-X, we need to get ready for the field trip to Appaloosa Plaines Horse Racing Ground!''

They both jumped out of their chairs and began getting ready for their anticipated trip coming up.

~*^*^*~

I'm really sorry if  that last part between the boys made no sense what so ever because it didn't make any sense to me either. Or maybe it's just because I'm writing this as 12:34am.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading Chapter 23 of The Cronwell Legacy.

Just a heads up that there will be seven more chapters to this generation and then Generation 7 shall start!
