Generation 7, Chapter 3 : An extra helping hand.

As weeks passed Lindsey and I continued our search to find Declan. Some use that was, I spent hours and hours on the internet, on social networking sites looking for Declan; Nothing.

I became so desperate that I gathered some money together and hired a private investigator. She was able to retrieve an old work file that belonged to Declan. It didn't give us any valuable information but only his name, age, gender and date of birth.

''Hey Robin have you checked the book-.'' I looked up at her and as I did she missed a step on the stairs and tripped.

She slid all the way downstairs and hit her head right on the last step.

''God are you okay Lindsey!?'' I asked her, concerning a bit but not enough to get out of my chair and help her up.

''Yeah I'm fine, I'll just help myself up.'' She said sarcastically, staring at me.

You said it.'' I muttered under my breath. She brushed her self off and flicked her long hair behind her neck.

''This is so fucking useless.'' I shouted out, hitting my laptop hard enough to make it crash.

''Calm down Rob, there's no need to swear.'' Lindsey said.

''Sorry, it's just... I want to find him. Soon.'' My head kept flickering images in my mind of Declan and I playing when we were younger which just made me even more sad. I held my head in my hands and gripped on my hair in complete stress.

''C'mon Robin! Did we travel hundreds of miles to Bridgeport just for nothing?''

''No.'' I muttered.

''I didn't think so. So let's not waste our time being sad and get out there and look for him. I'll go check all the books over there and you continued to scour the web for any trace of him. There is no way in hell were not going to find out brother, were Cronwell's!''

''I FOUND SOMETHING!'' I yelled out, not noticing Lindsey was only a couple metres away from me.

''It's about damn time!'' She said leaping towards me, leaning on my neck and looking straight into the computer.

''See, look at that paragraph.''
'' Declan Jackson Cronwell, aged 27, male. Employed as a park ranger and photographer in Downtown Avenue Park.''

''A park ranger, seriously?'' Lindsey questioned.

''He did say we wanted to take a new career path.'' I pointed out. I quickly wrote down the address of his workplace and shut my laptop.

''Were going to fine him Lindsey, I can feel it.'' I said looking down at the address and smiling. I grabbed my car keys and grinned at Lindsey.

''Do you think he's changed?'' She asked.

''Good question, I probably don't think so but I bet he has a stubble.'' I said grinning at her.

~^~

By time we got to the park a think layer of snow settled on Bridgeport, and the park. The park looked more like a public garden because of the assorted flowers and the huge dome that insulated the plants.

After an hour of searching Lindsey and I were simple lost. We checked every inch of the park yet there was no Declan Cronwell. We asked all the locals yet no name came up as Declan Cronwell. We even checked the employment list and there was still no sign of Declan Cronwell.

''This is just bloody hopeless, there is no way in hell were going to find our brother.'' I said slumping into the cold park bench. Lindsey looked at me with all sadness and sat next to me.  sighed and turned away, at that point I just couldn't be bothered to do nothing anymore, let alone talk

''Listen Robin, don't worry your head off... we'll find Declan Cronwell. It may take us a day, a week, a month or even a long year but we'll find him... just in due time.''

''How Lindsey? Just you!? No one in this damn time has heard of a Declan Cronwell!''

''I have.'' I high voice let out behind me. I jumped a bit and looked to my right to see a stranger next to me.

''No offense bu who are you?'' Lindsey asked awkwardly.

''Declan's boss. I'm Gemma, Gemma Thorton. Please to meet you.'' She said smiling at both of us.

Finally, an extra hand to help us out.

~^~
DONE. I am done. This chapter was so easy to write, yet it took so long to get out, thanks to my laptop which decided to give up on me and die.

As you can probably notice, this Generation is really beginning to get started but it will be interrupted... by the Cronwell Christmas Special.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading!

Please comment, I love Feedback!

Thanks :)

Generation 7, Chapter 2 : Beautiful Bridgeport.

Ever since Lindsey mentioned about us going to Bridgeport in search of Declan, none of us have said anything else about it. That was probably mainly because we thought it would be quite a job looking for him in that never-ending city.

''So where are we going?'' I asked curiously

''Oh just to the Cafe, it may be cold but I'm so hungry I could eat a horse.''

''Well I could've cooked.'' I said back.

''Mum's told me about your cooking Robin, I think it's best to go to a Cafe...'' She's right, the only thing I was good at cooking was toast, and even sometimes I burnt that.

Once we got there Lindsey went quiet and I could easily tell something was wrong with her. When I came out of the Cafe with our cups of Hot Chocolate, I sat down and rubbed my neck.

''Are you aright sis, you seem and look sad.'' I pushed her hot chocolate to her but she din't pick it up or anything.

''Okay seriously, you love Hot Chocolate! What is wrong? You can tell me.'' I said smiling at her.

''Same of you, I'm beginning to really miss Declan now, no offence but he is the funny one out of you two and I miss his jokes...''

''I'll just let that pass by because your sad. But Hey! Why don't we go to Bridgeport then and find him?''

''It'll be no use.'' She replied back, sighing at the same time.

''Yes there will be! Just look at the technology now these days, we can probably find him within two boarding tickets and a little research on the internet. I'm meant to be the one missing him, not you, so let's just go there and see... you never know what we'll find.''

''You're right Rob, we should actually go and look for him, it's worth a try at least. And who know's, maybe I'll find my soul mate there!'' She said jumping up in excitement.

''Sure, but just remember that that's no the main reason were going there and if he's not decent, dad will throw a fit.''

''That's our protective dad for you.'' She said behind my back, grinning.

''Wow... that's a lot of bags Lindsey, how long are we planning to stay in Bridgeport for?'' I asked her. She had three huge brown suitcases full to capacity with clothes, make up and other stuff girls own.

''Well...'' She said zipping up her final suitcase.

''Since I'm AM a girl, a girlly-girl at that, I have to have the essentials with me even if were staying in Bridgeport for a week, or a month.''

''I guess we'll have to drive there then because all of these suitcases aren't going to fit in the Taxi.''

''So we will!''

''Do you think we'll find out brother?'' I asked her curiously.

'''Of course we will!'' She replied back with a motivated tone. ''I guarantee we'll bump into him or something within the first week!''

''So... I guess it's time to go....'' I said.

''Yeah, this is our first time travelling, I'm pretty nervous.'' She said, biting her nail.

''Don't worry Sis, I'm sure it'll be fine, fun and exciting!''

''I hope it is, now let's get the show on the road and get out of Twinbrook!''

''Let's!''

Within two hours we were on the first flight out to Bridgeport. By what I predicted, Lindsey and I were going to have an interesting time there.

~~

The next day we arrived in the bustling city of Bridgeport. Bridgeport seems to be exceptionally clean and now what I thought, the town wasn't as complicated as I thought it was.

Then there was our apartment I rented out for us. It was quite spacious and of course, has two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living room and a long balcony.

I rustled my pockets for the keys to the apartment, pull them out and turned the lock in the door. As it unlocked and opened, quite a pleasant smell greeted us.

Lindsey came up a few minuets later with the suitcases and gasped as she saw the apartment.

''ROBIN! How the hell did you afford to rent such a beautiful apartment like this!?'' She questioned me.

''A little help from mum and dad,, plus I've been saving up for a year... or two.''

''No wonder, this place is amazing.'' She said exploring the large apartment.

''Have you seen the view from these windows!?'' She said literately pushing herself on the glass to get a better view.

''Yes Lindsey, you've pointed it out to me the fifth time now.'' I said sighing and flicking through my tablet; I was already searching for a 'Declan. J. Cronwell' all over the internet.

''But Robin, it's snowing!'' She said jumping for joy. Ever since snow somehow ended up in Twinbrook Lindsey adored the beautiful and white season.

''Wow, it actually is snowing...'' I said to her, and smiling at the same time. ''... I guess snow is all around the world now, I wouldn't be surprised if we heard on the news of snow in Egypt!''

We both continued to laugh until we heard some heavy footsteps enter the room.

''You have five seconds to tell us who you are before we call the police.'' Lindsey said bluntly eyeing the young man, who looked about my age, suspiciously.

''Hi, I'm your new neighbour, Tony Robbins. Nice to meet you two.'' He said smiling at Lindsey.

''Sorry for disturbing you two, it's just I'm quite noisy and you guys door was wide open so...'' He said ruffling his brown plates. From what I concluded, he looked Latino.

''Oh that's totally fine, I'm Robin and that's my sister, Lindsey.''

''Hi there Lindsey, I know we just met but I must say, your very pretty.'' He said. I wasn't surprised the boy was already falling for my little sister, she was known to get boys. In high school the boys practically worshipped her beauty, intellect and funny nature.

''Why thank you Tony, your quite hot too.'' She said winking at him.

''Uh... I'll just go order some Chinese for you two, would you like anything Tony?'' I asked while they continued to flirt.

''Oh it's fine Robin, I have some leftover chilli in my apartment but thank you for the offer.'' He said smiling at me, then continuing to flirt with Lindsey.

Hours later after we ate our Chinese Tony came back over and asked Lindsey out for a date. Being the protective brother I am I was keeping a close eye on them but from today, Tony seems to be a gentleman and cares for my little sister.

''Thank you Lindsey, for this wonderful day with you... I enjoyed it quite a lot.'' He said kissing her hand.

''Well, thank you Tony for coming over hear and showing your handsome face to me.''

From what I see, my little sister likes this boy... a lot.

Generation 7, Chapter 1 : There's always your sister.

It's been about Two years since Declan moved to Bridgeport.
The first year, once he left, was completely fine. I got a new job as an Architect and with the money I received I was able to buy my own house; It was small but it was perfect for one person. Declan came ack and fourth from Bridgpeot to Twinbrook a lot, almost every weekend and quite a few times I went to Bridgeport to visit him... and his bitch of a girlfriend.

Paige is her name, I think. She has liked Declan for as long as I remember but in my eyes she's a deceiving and persuasive devil who is mooching off of my brother's money.

However the second year got worst. He stopped calling my mother and I, only came to Twinbrook every three months and never replied to our letters. I began worrying about him and constantly thought about him and if he was okay... after all he is my brother.

I heard the keys rattle in the door downstairs: It was Lindsey. I gave her a key because she insisted I should when I was in depression. It was actually my mum who used to check up on me but she eventually got busy and asked Lindsey to instead.

''Robin?'' I heard her call out from the hallway.

''I'm in here.''

She sat down next to me and I sighed.

''I got you some Chinese, it's in the fridge.''

''Thanks.'' I replied bluntly.

''Mum says Hi.''

''Okay.''

''Are you okay Robin? You seem sad... again.''

''Yeah I am. He hasn't called in ages and I'm getting kind of worried.'' I replied.

''You too I guess. Mums been worried sick about him for the past few weeks, she is even considering going to Bridgeport herself to find him...''

''She should, maybe she'll have more luck.'' I said sighing again.

''EUREKA!'' She shouted out like a typical British man. ''Why don't you and I go to Bridgeport to find Declan ourselves?''

''Uh... are you sure? What about the house?'' I said. I've actually never been out of Twinbrook in my life, besides moving here as a baby.

''Totally, we can split the cost of renting an apartment while we search for him and I'm sure mum will be fine checking on the house for you.''

''I guess looking for him for a week or two wouldn't do any harm, plus their are some amazing building in Bridgeport which I can get project ideas from.''

''Yeah, that too....'' She said sarcastically. With me being twenty - three and my sister being twenty we are both grown, yet she still carried her childish sarcasm with her.

''So let's get packing!'' She said jumping on my back. I jumped out of shock once she jumped on my back but quickly smiled behind her once she was on my back.

''Lindsey... you do know your like the best sister in the world?'' I said to her grinning.

''Of course I do, I'm Lindsey! Everyone loves me.'' She definitely is right, she was quite popular amongst her school and still is in her musical career.

To cheer me up she suggested we go Roller-blading and embrace the summer weather before Winter came upon us. Surprisingly we were both good at it...

''Your quite good Lindsey.'' I said to her while we spun around like fools.

''And so are you might I say, we must get it from mum and dad.''

''Dad, not mum... mum is horrible on wheels.'' I said, it was rude but it was the truth. When the Autumn festival came to Twinbrook years ago mum and dad both went Roller - blading and of course, my dad was skilled and my mum... well let's just say she isn't the best at sports.

''God I'm so good at this.'' I boasted while spinning on one feet and my hands perched high in the air.

''Boasting isn't nice Robin.''

''Yeah bu-.''

I suddenly lost my balance and slipped, within a second I was flat on the floor.

''ROBIN! Are you okay!?'' Lindsey said rushing to me.

''Yeah... I'm... Aright...'' I said rubbing my head.

''I told you not to boast.'' She said to me tending to my face.

''I know, Sorry Lindz. You know your exactly like mum.''

''Do you think? I thought I was more like dad.''

''Nah, your a loving and caring sister, and mum is the same... except she is a mum.''

''Aww! Thank you Rob.''

''Rob!? When since do you call me Rob?''

''Just now, that's my new nickname for you.''

''Mum calls dad Harry, and now you call me Rob.'' I said sighing.

''Don't act like you hate it!'' She said.''

''Okay... maybe I do.''
