Generation 8, Chapter 16 [PART 2] - Olivia.

Previously ...

''That isn't ...'' I said worryingly, looking down at my feet awkwardly.

''It is. Oswald meet your daughter, Olivia.'' Oswlad Ex - wife said to him, looking down at the enthusiastic little toddler.

---

''What the hell are you doing here!?''  Oswald shouted out at Launa, who was still standing there quite awkwardly with Oswald's child in her hands.

''I - I thought it would be a good time to meet your daughter ...'' She said quite loudly, matching Oswald's angry tone.

''Oh what, three years later!'' Oswald replied harshly, causing his child to go silent.

''Oswald calm down, you're scaring Olivia! Why don't we all just calm down, sit in the living room and have a proper chat about this ... Okay?'' I suggested, hoping they'd both calm down for the sake of their child, my ears and my unsettled stomach ...

''That's fine with me ...'' Launa politely agreed.

''Whatever ...'' Oswald said angrily, looking at me.

''Oswald, be nice, at least until she's gone.'' I whispered as quietly as possible to him, hoping he'd be civil about the current situation.

For a few minuets, the room went completely quiet, and consequently became full of awkwardness. I couldn't help but admire their little daughter, she just seemed so normal and unaware about the whole situation, even though she was three, clearly old enough to know what was going on.

''So ... Launa is it?'' I asked, trying to get the conversation started.

''Yes. I'm sure Oswald has told you a lot about me.'' She said, looking at Oswald for him to then cut his eye at her and continue to casually play with his daughter.

''Yeah, he sure has. Not to beat around the bush or anything but why are you here ...?'' I awkwardly asked.

''Well ... Let me explain. I know you'll probably say no, so there's pretty much no point of asking but I need a huge, life changing favor ...'' She said, looking quite sad as she said it.

''And that is?'' Oswald abruptly said.

''I was hoping you and you're ... wife?'' She discreetly asked.

''Fiance.'' I replied quickly.

''Well ... Fiance, would be able to take Olivia into your care full time.'' She asked. I sort of went breathless as she asked that huge favor, not seeing it coming one bit.

''You're some piece of work Launa! You have my baby, don't even let me know her name, take all custody rights from me and then three years later stumble into our home and practically giver us to her! That's fucking messed up!'' Oswald viciously said to Launa. Olivia turned around and frowned slightly at her dad as he swore and I also gave him a disappointing look as well.

''Well I'm sorry! If I'm honest, I done it purely for revenge. I never wanted to divorce you, in all honesty you were the love of my life, and I could clearly see from that day you would get with her and as I can clearly see now ... Marry her. But that's in the past. We're having really bad money trouble right now, so much so that I just can't handle bringing Olivia up in a dingy one bedroom flat. You guys live the high life ... Huge house, multiple businesses, you have it all for her and I'm wondering, if you could, could you please take her into your care? Not for me, but for her. Please ...?'' Launa literally pleaded.

I looked back at Oswald, and he looked just as shocked as I was at that moment.

''Dad, swearing is bad!'' Olivia innocently shouted at her dad, as he let out a little smile.

''I'm sorry little girl, I won't swear again!'' He replied.

''... Give us a minuet, we need to talk about this.'' Oswald said to Launa, as he stood up.

''As much as I hate Launa for what she done, I really do love my daughter, even though I just met her. She seems so full of life and I'm sure she'd fit in perfect with us ....'' He said.

''... What I'm asking is that, would you help me bring her up?'' He asked me. I had my mind up well before he asked me that question, and the obvious answer would be yes.

''Of course I would Oswald! You've done so much for me throughout these three years, especially when I went to Prison ... You waited for me, for one and half years! This is the least I can do for you, and besides, Olivia would be an amazing addition to our new family!'' I said excitingly.

''Thank you so much Stella ... Oh and don't think this is going to stop us having our own children because I want that more than anything!'' He reassured me, amorously hugging me at the same time.

''Launa ... Don't think I done this for you, because I didn't. I'm only doing this for the sake and well being of my daughter, nothing else. But thank you, I'm glad you didn't choose another option like adoption or stuff like that ...'' Oswald said to her.

''I thought it was a perfect time to do this. Do you mind if I say goodbye to her? Her things are in the hallway.'' She replied

''No problem go ahead.'' He replied.

''Goodbye my little flower, don't think because I'm leaving you here doesn't mean I don't love you because I love you more than anything. In fact, I'm doing this because I love you.'' She cooed.

''I love you too mum, are you going to visit me!?'' Olivia asked anxiously.

''If it's okay with daddy and his fiance, sure! But not as often though, mummy has to sort out her life first, get things in order ...'' She said, as she teared up.

If I'm to be honest, I felt really sorry for Launa, having to bring up a child in her financial state for three years, however that still isn't a good reason for her to deny Oswald access to Olivia ...

''Thank you Stella, and Oswald. I really appreciate this.'' She said, as she walked towards the front door.

''No problem, Launa. She is my daughter after all.'' I replied as she let out a little smile.

---

Some few days later, I was greeted in the morning with some lovely sickness.

''Oh shit-.'' I said quickly as the vomit circled inside my mouth.

I bolted through the multiple hallways of the bottom floor and literally flung my head into the toilet.

''Oh god ...'' I said, wiping the remaining vomit off my face.

''You're not ... P-Pregnant ... right?'' Oswald awkwardly asked as he came in with Olivia.

''I- I think I am.'' I replied.

Generation 8, Chapter 16 [PART I] - Olivia.

It had been just a few weeks since we moved in our new family home and we luckily were able to settle in perfectly before the mid - winter snow came crashing down on us.

Our wedding was approaching in the later months of next year and I thought it would be a great to start planning ahead of time just to save all the hustle and bustle to get things ready and booked nearer to the time.

There wasn't that much to do around the house since we hadn't had children yet and having a lot of time off of managing the Resort and our other buildings, Oswald and I were able to have a lot of fun together ...

It wasn't just fun, but special to us. We haven't properly planned a family for the future, but at the same time we wasn't stopping it happening at the same time ...

''Stella, my dear!'' Jubilee said cheerfully as I answered my phone.

''Yes Jubilee, who always calls ever so late!'' I said sarcastically.

''Very funny! I was actually calling to tell you that a new wedding shop just opened near our house, fancy checking it out? You might see something you like!'' She asked excitingly.

''Sure!'' I replied excitingly.

''Great, see you there!'' She said, quickly hanging up so she could tend to Annabelle.

''Stella!'' Jubilee literally screamed out as she saw me open the wedding shop doors.

''Jubilee!'' I replied excitingly, running up to give her a warm hug.

''How have you been? I feel like I haven't seen you in ages! How's the kids!?'' I couldn't help but ask so many questions! I hadn't seen Jubilee and my brother since Oswald and I got engaged and since then, a lot had happened.

''I've been great thanks, and I know but hey ho, we're here now! Also, the kids are great thanks, Annabelle's just about to start Year 1 and Creig is starting Secondary school next year! But enough about my life, it's time to find you an amazing wedding dress!'' She suggested, winking at me.

After a few minuets of searching, I picked out quite a casual and different type of wedding dress, hoping Jubilee would also like it.

''Jube, what do you think of this one? Too short?'' I asked.

''Oh god no! Way too short and if I'm honest, it really doesn't look like a good wedding dress!'' She expressed her opinion on the dress, quite harshly!

''Okay! Okay! I'll try on the second choice then ...'' I said skipping back to changing rooms quite happily.

''Okay, what about this one? Still too short?'' I asked, staring awkwardly at her awaiting her reaction.

''Dear lord ... I hate to regret it but you look better than me on my wedding day! It's perfect!'' She replied, admiring my 'perfect' dress.

''Aww, stop lying Jubilee, but thank you! You think I should get this one?'' I asked her properly.

She stood back for a few seconds and admired it one more time before speaking again.

''Of course you should, it's flipping perfect!'' She instructed!

''Okay, I will! Thank you so much Jubilee, to be honest you're my only true friend and I couldn't of picked a better wedding dress without you!'' I said, giving Jubilee another warm hug.

''Aw, you don't have to say that! I'm always here to help!'' She replied, winking at me one more before helping me take off my new wedding dress.

---

Hours later, after purchasing my wedding dress and getting it delivered to our house in the coming months, I came home to see Oswald fully focused while he was doing some 'Work' on his tablet.

''Oh, hey babe, how was shopping with Jube?'' He asked, quickly popping his head up to look at me as he put down his tablet.

''It was great thanks, we got a few stuff for the wedding arranged ...'' I replied.

''By a few stuff, you mean you brought your wedding dress din't you?'' He said, winking at me as he easily saw through my lie.

''Ah, you got me! I was going to keep it a secret but you're just to smart for me!'' I said flirtatiously, pulling him in for a amours hug.

''I am aren't I, -.'' As he started to talk, he was quickly cut off by the sound of our door bell going off.

''I wonder who it is ...'' I said as I silently walking up to the door, trying to get a glimpse of the person.

''Looks like a women holding a kid in her arms, should I answer it?'' I asked.

''Sure, why not ...'' Oswald said, expecting it to be no one special.

As I opened the door, a very worn out, desperate woman looked directly at Oswald.

''Daddy!'' The little girl in the woman's arms called out, looking rather excited to see Oswald. At first I was thinking, who the hell is this ...? Then I remembered.

''That isn't ...'' I said worryingly, looking down at my feet awkwardly.

''It is. Oswald meet your daughter, Olivia.'' Oswlad Ex - wife said to him, looking down at the enthusiastic little toddler.

Generation 8, Chapter 15 : Never in a thousand years.

One and a half years later ...

For me, one and half years in prison felt like eternity. No judge or person in authority actually told me of my release date, I was just told that if I was lucky, I'd be free in just over a year due to an act of self - defense; and lucky I was.

I was simple allowed to collect my things from the duty officer and exit the huge, intimidating prison gates. As I got out, I noticed it had turned Winter and I was extremely cold in just the things I had come into the prison with a year and half ago,  which was when the duty officer came out and handed me a thick purple coat.

''Take care of yourself, you don't want to end up back in here anytime soon.'' The duty officer said bluntly, as I quickly put the coat on.

''Thank you.'' Was all I replied.

She closed the prison gates and I looked around my immediate surroundings, hoping that someone would be here to pick me up.

My dad, my Mum ... Or even Oswald.

I looked behind me once more to see the duty officer walking back into the actual prison and suddenly, a familiar voice started to talk behind me.

''S - Stella ...?'' My ever so young looked dad said, extremely worried.

''D - D - Daddy ...'' I said quietly, running up to him in tears.

''Stella, you don't know how much I've missed you.'' He said, hugging me tightly and also trying to hold his tears back.

''I've missed you too dad, and mum, and everyone else ...'' I replied, crying slightly.

''We need to talk about what happened, properly ... They built a new cafe downtown, let's go there and talk.'' My dad ordered, pointing to his new car across the road.

As we entered the Cafe, I felt as if everyone was looking at me, judging me for what I had done, and to be honest they actually were ...

''Dad, can we leave? I can't take this.'' I said quietly, somewhat hiding my face in shame.

''Just pretend they're not here Stella, you don't need to be intimidated by stupid strangers that are just here to judge you. Now let's sit down.'' My dad said, smiling to me as he found a table us two.

''Listen dad ... Before you start to talk, I need to ask you something ... -.'' Just as I was about to ask him a serious question, he cut me off.

''No Stella, let me talk first. Before you come out with a big explanation ... We're not mad, just shocked. Yes you killed him, yes you had no right to take his life and yes you've been punished for it, but it was an accident. An act of self-defense and if I'm to be honest, I would of done the same if I was in your position. Nobody's mad at you, maybe slightly dissapointed but not mad.'' My father said, looking at me with his big, concerned green eyes.

''Thank you dad, but I still feel like I should be dead and not him ... I just don't know what to do ...'' I said as more tears began to slowly roll down my pale cheeks.

''Stella, don't you ever say that. You have every single right in the world to live. Andrew was going to murder you anyway so you had every right to try and fight back.''

''I guess so ...'' I replied.

''No!'' He shouted out, banging the table for everyone to look over at us. ''You know so!'' He added.

I stood up, wiping the final tears on my cheek as my dad started to speak again.

''Now Stella, I've been told to take you down to the beach, there's some kind of surprise there for you.'' He suddenly said, smiling at me as he had something planned for me.

''... Okay, let's go then ...'' I replied back suspiciously
.

We arrived at the beach as the sun began to set.

''Look at the sunset, it's nice isn't it ...'' My father said awkwardly, trying to avoid something I was unaware of ...

''Dad is there an actual reason we're here because I'm quite cold just standing here?'' I questioned.

''Look over there!'' He said, awkwardly smiling as he pointed at a man standing on the beach in a blue coat.

''That isn't-.'' I was about to ask before my dad cut me off one more time.

''It is, now go on up to him Stella, he has a surprise for you ...'' He said, no grinning at me.

''H - Hello ..?'' I stuttered out, as I nervously approached him.

He jumped suddenly a slowly turned around to see me awkwardly standing behind him. ''S-S-Stella!'' He shouted out, pulling me in for a tight hug.

''You actually don't know how much I've missed you Stell, it's been one and half years of hell!'' He said, hugging me extra tight.

''I- I... thought you'd forget about me ...'' I admitted, dropping my arms from Oswald's back.

''Stella I'd never forget about me, you're the only girl I've really loved in a long time ...''

''... So much that I'd do this ...'' He said, as he got on one knee and brought out a black box from his pocket.

Suddenly, it clicked in my head what he was doing ... He was going to propose!

''Stella, You and I have been through a lot through these past three years and if I'm honest, I don't regret a thing. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and to do that, I'm pretty sure we have to marry.'' He said, grinning at me.

''So how about it, will you marry me?'' He asked, grinning at me and back at my dad who was watching in the background.

''Yes, yes, yes! A thousand times yes! Just one thing, are you sure you won't regret this ...?'' I questioned, worryingly.

''Never in a thousand years.''
---

A month quickly passed by and although it was still winter, it hadn't snowed for quite a while now. Oswald and I had already started planning the wedding and only a few days ago moved into a huge house of our own.

''So Stella ... Kids aye?'' Oswald awkwardly said, actually asking if I want kids.

''Yeah, why not! I'm thinking three, maybe four?'' I suggested.

''Or five!'' Oswald said excitingly.

''Oh god Oswald, calm down! I'm the one given birth!'' I explained, winking at him as he kissed me on the cheek.
