Generation 5, Chapter 17 : Life as a newly wed is quite easy.

Being married didn't feel different. The only difference was that the man beside me was the man who I was going to spend the rest of my life with. We arrived back in Starlight Shores at the crack of dawn because we got a late flight home in Hidden Springs.

''Ugh now back to our little apartment.'' I said as I sighed and opened the door to our apartment.

''What the hell?'' I almost shouted out seeing loads of boxes spaced out around the living room.

''What is the meaning of this Alex?''

''Well, Now were married, we can't live in this little apartment all our life's. So just before we left for our honeymoon, I put a deposit of this lovely little house just two door down and now, it's ours.''

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Alex brought us a house, not even a bigger apartment, a house!

''Oh Alex, I can't believe your brought us a house!''

''Well, let's just get these boxes in the mowing van and we can leave straight away. Just don't forget to give the keys to the next tenant.''

After hours of moving heavy boxes in and out of the apartment we finally left there and got to our new house just down the road. The house.... it was stunning.

''Oh.my.god. This house Alex.... it's stunning.'' I said applauding at the beautiful structure in front of me.

''Isn't it great Jade, it has three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a little study right next to the living room. And also it has a mini garden too.'' I didn't really listen to what Alex was saying because I was too busy exploring the different rooms.

''Alex, you never told me it was fully furnished!''

''I wanted that aspect to be a surprise.''

I ran back to Alex and kissed him. ''Oh Alex your just full of surprises.''

''What you doing honey?'' I asked Alex while I stirred the mixture in the bowl.

''I looking for a new job. The police force get's a bit boring in a way.''

''Oh are you sure you should leave, I mean the police force pays allot?''

''Actually you'r right, maybe I'll wait for a while.''

''Honey, dinner's ready.''

''O-Ok Jade, just... one.. minuet... I need to work off that fat I got from our Honeymoon.''

''Okay Alex!'' He didn't seem fat at all but I guess a guy like him high in the police force needs to be in tip top shape.

''Oh Jade these pancakes are so nice.''

''There only pancakes Alex, there easy to make but thank you.''

Our new bed was much more comfortable than my old one in my apartment.

''Alex?''

''Y-Yes Honey?''

''I feel sick..''

'Hmm.''

~ Next Morning..~

Next morning I felt even worse. I was sweating everywhere, I had a pounding headache and I felt dizzy standing up or doing anything.

''Honey I think you should see a doctor.''

''No, I'm fine I just need some rest.''

''Do you think..-'' I cut him off instantly because I knew exactly what he was going to say.

''No, Alex.. No.''

As the day went on, I thought about what Alex was about to say. I knew it wasn't true but I was worth knowing if he was right or not. So I took it.''

''Alex, it's positive, I'm pregnant.''
