Generation 6, Chapter 22 : Aftermath.

Pain.

Pain was just one feeling I was experiencing, there was also regret, worry and sickened. Just hours after the accident across town Declan and I was rushed to Intensive Car. I could the doctor talking to my mother about me but I only heard muffles since they were on the other side of the room. I slowly looked up in agony, seeing Harrison comfort Robin and my mother bent down beside me sobbing.

I then looked over to my right to see my little boy in a coma. He didn't have any exterior injuries because the accident knocked him clean out and into a coma. Other than him being in a coma I never knew what else was wrong with him.

The doctor came to my bedside where my mother was still shedding tears. Harrison came over to, to comfort my mother who was distraught. I blinked a few times before looking up again at the doctor and he began talking.

''It's great to see that your awake Mrs. Cronwell but I have quite a few thing to tell you.''

I tried to reply back but he took my hand and smiled at me.

''Please don't talk Mrs. Cronwell, we gave you some drugs to kill the pain and a side effect is the swelling of the gums.''

I nodded and he carried on talking.

''First of all, I am so sorry but your son, Declan Cronwell, has entered a short - term coma. Short - term coma's normally last for three to four hours but I'm positive he will wake up any minuet now. On the other hand, the crash somehow managed to puncture his lung. The punctured lung has been repair to some extent in an operation but there is a high chance he will develop asthma in the future years.''

I looked over to Declan once again and began crying. During my pregnancy with the twins I tried my absolute best to keep my body healthy so they will be healthy and to think that he will have breathing problems in the future makes me feel so guilty.

''Then there is you Mrs. Cronwell. Luckily most of your injuries are exterior and the only interior damages which has been made is to your Liver. Livers can repair themselves to with a high dosage of Antibiotics, you'll be healthy in six months or so.''

''But... the most damage has been done to your unborn baby. The crash has sent you into early labour and it is possible that...''

Somehow I managed to talk with all the energy I had left.

''That...?''

'' Your baby could be stillborn. The crash caused a rupture in the womb which diverted the baby's main nutrient supply. It is a 1 in 10 chance that your baby can be born still.''

My mother dropped to her knees and started to cry like never before. I on the other hand couldn't do nothing, say nothing... but inside I deteriorated. The thought of giving birth to a dead child literately made me shiver and cry.

''I am really sorry Mrs. Cronwell, the hospital is doing everything we can to keep you, your son and your unborn child healthy and alive.''

The doctor moved to the machine beside Declan. I turned onto my side and rubbed my baby bump. Thanks to me my unborn baby and my youngest son's life in hanging on by a thread.

''Grandma, Grandma! Declan's waking up!'' I heard Robin shout out in happiness. Harrison told me that since Robin had been really worried about his brother.

''I know darling, why don't you get your father and bring him in here.''

Robin ran out the room with a bright smile on his face. Just seconds later he returned with Harrison.

Everyone gathered around Declan's as his eyes slowly opened up. He slowly realized where he was and he probably didn't remember what happened.

Surprisingly he got straight up from bed and walked right up to his twin brother and hugged him. It just made me smile to know that my boys got along so well unlike other twins in my family.

''Dec, I'm so happy your finally awake!''

''I know mate, I've missed you big bro!'' Declan grinned at Robin and they done their twin secret handshake which really wasn't a secret because everyone knew what it was.

The doctor was interrupted by Harrison who was starting to worry about me.

''Doctor Moore, when do you think my wife will begin direct labour?''

''Well with the state she is in it can happen any time but with her consent we can induce her labour.''

''Which is the better option?''

''Well, the are exactly the same but induce labour just let's her deal with the pain of labour earlier than usual. Plus because of her baby being a month early the baby will be much smaller making it earlier for her to have a natural birth. But there is one more option...''

''And what is that doc?''

''A C-Section. The chances of stillbirth are very high with a C-Section but having one will reduce the amount of pain which is best in your state.''

My mother came to my side again and comforted me.

''Jade, having a C-Section is really risky and the recovery period takes up to two months. I'm not telling you what to choose but I'm just telling you the risks.''

''I know mum...'' I choked on most of my words when I spoke. ''...If I naturally gave birth to two twin boys eight years ago I can naturally give birth to another baby. I'm a Cronwell mum, and Cronwell's are strong.''

''They sure are honey, they sure are.''

~^~

Hours later I was induced into labour and surprisingly the contractions came really fast. Harrison and my mother stood behind the curtain as they wasn't allowed to watch me give birth.

With every single inch of energy I had left was used to push out my baby. The screams I made could of been heard from every room in the hospital. There was a lot of blood and for a few minuets I blacked out because of the amount of pain which was shooting through my body.

Soon after that a miracle occurred.

My baby wasn't born stillborn, in fact other than it being born a month early, it was perfectly healthy.

I sunk into the bed after hearing the screeching crying of my baby. Harrison, Jade and the twins ran back in and my mother began to shed tears of happiness. I slowly looked up to see my beautiful baby in Harrison's arms.

''Congratulations Mrs. Cronwell, you've given birth to a baby girl.''

Two months later my baby girl was able to be taken home. After a lot of consideration, we named her Lindsey Maria Cronwell.

''Welcome home Lindsey.'' I whispered in her tiny ear.

Generation 6, Chapter 21 : Just as thing are great, they always go wrong.

Being pregnant again for me was in some sense, a breeze. I still had to go through the dreadful morning sickness and hormones but I felt this pregnancy had some sort of ease, or maybe it was just because I naturally gave birth to two babies in the space of five minuets.

Harrison was lucky enough to go back to work but just two weeks after I returned to work, I found out I was pregnant. I decided to take early maternity leave because Harrison already had a lot of money coming in  for us.

The twins took me being pregnant again quite a surprise. They knew the whole concept of making a child and kept on asking Harrison and I awkward questions about Sexual Intercourse.

The one thing which got completely out of hand was my hormones. I constantly moaned at Harrison for the stupidest of things and blamed ridiculous things on the twins. One day I even through Nadine out of our house because she said I was 'large'.

''DECLAN JACKSON CRONWELL! Get your but inside and do your homework!'' I bellowed into his ear.

''Mum... please don't hell at me, I just came out here because I needed your help with my science homework.''

He slowly began to cry and I grabbed him and hugged him.

''I'm sorry darling, it's just that mummy is having a bad day today because the baby is stressing me out.'' I rubbed his shoulder and he smiled at me.

''Mummy?''

''Yes honey?''

''Can I feel the baby?''

''Of course you can dear!!'' Declan jumped in joy and began to feel my belly.

''Mum! I can feel it kick, it kicked!!''

''I did to honey, I did to!''

~*^*~

Harrison actually read a pregnancy book for once.
When I was carrying the twins he became just a bit boastful (although I never told him he was) and said he didn't need any parental advice on looking after children. Although he was correct it still would of been useful to read one.

So, I literately forced him to read a pregnancy book this time to ensure he was going to be a great parent like he is with the twins.

~ Third Person ~

Robin strolled in on his father reading a pregnancy book.

''Hey dad, whatcha' reading there?'' He asked curiously.

''Well, your mother made me read a pregnancy book to get ready for your future brother or sister.''

''Aw, tough luck!'' He skipped into the living room and positioned himself next to his dad who then put down the book.

Robin looked very anxious. It seemed her has something on his mind that he needed to get off of his chest fast. He looked up at his father and bit his lip.

''Dad...'' He widened he eyes out at him ''.... Once the new baby is born, are you going to forget about Declan and I?''

''Robin, of course not! Your mother and I will love every single one of you the same. And yes, maybe the new baby will get a bit more attention from us but we won't forget about you at all!''

Harrison leaped off of the chair and pulled up his son, folding him into his arms and hugging him for at least two whole minuets.

Moments later Declan and Cassidy entered the room.

''Guys were going out to get some Ice cream, want anything while were out?''

''Nothing.'' Harrison said.

''Can you get me some easy - cook waffles please mum?'' Robin asked.

''Sure honey.''

Harrison started to become worried about Cassidy driving to the shops at her stage in her pregnancy. ''Cassidy, you want me to drive you? Pregnant women are not meant to be driving, especially at night...''

''Harrison, I'm eight months pregnant and I have been pregnant before, I'm sure I can drive to the shops.''

''Fine but please be careful, please?''

''Yes Harrison, Declan and I will be fine.''

Cassidy picked up her purse and left the house with Declan.

Declan spotted the Ice cream truck across the road and looked up at his mum, smiling in delight.

''Mummy...'' He put on his puppy dog face to his mum. ''.... Can you buy me a Ice pole?''

''If you must. Sure but just don't tell your father and Robin, they'll kill me.''

He grinned at hugged his mother. ''I won't, our secret is safe within the Ice cream truck!'' They both laughed and headed to the Ice cream truck.

~^*^~

Back at home Robin somehow convinced his Father to play the Xbox with him.

''My fox just totally beaten your's dad!!'' He said to Harrison who was still trying to get control of the controls.

''Dad your so rubbish at this game, how about we play Fifa 13?'' Robin suggested.

''Now that my son is a game that I love!'' Harrison shouted out. They began to play, and play, and play.

~^*^~

It was 11:10 pm, Cassidy and Declan were driving over the enclosed bridge. Cassidy suddenly felt her baby kick her abdominal and looked down to observe it.

''Declan put your hand on my belly, you'll feel it kick!'' He put down his DSi and felt his baby brother/sister kick. He smiled at his mother and hugged her once again.

Cassidy suddenly heard I loud honk from another car and looked straight up.

They both screamed in fright as the huge car headed straight for them.

''MUM! Stop the car, stop the car!'' Declan cried out but it was to late.

Both fronts of the cars collided together and there was a loud cracking sound from Cassidy's car. Both her and Declan were launched out of the car and unto the ground. The passenger of the other car was unconcious inside the car, he was bleeding from all areas from his face.

In just a few second,  everything had turned from great to painful.

Both of them laid there unconcious.

Broken.

Bleeding.

Battered.

If it wasn't for Jade conviently finding them there, Cassidy, Declan and the baby probably wouldn't had no chance of survival.

~*^* Jade's point of view *^*~

Since I was entering my old age I decided it would be best to go for a night stroll to clear my head. I also decided that night to walk past my daughters house when I saw her and one of my grandson's lying there,

Broken.

Bleeding.

Battered.

I instantly knew something was wrong and called emergency services.

''999.''

''Yes, I need the ambulance. I've found my daughter and grandson lying unconcious on the road. There is another passenger in the other car also unconcious, maybe even dead....'' My voice began to crack as I continued to describe my surroundings.

''Okay, ma'am we'll be there in five minuets.''

I let my phone fall out of my hand and ran over to them once I made the call. Both Cassidy and Declan hadn't began bleeding which suggested they had internal injuries. I first checked for a pulse from Cassidy, luckily there was. I put both hands on her belly to see if I could hear about if her baby was alive; I could hear anything.

I then went over to Declan and gently crawled him in my hands. He became pale in the face and opened one eye to me.

''Grandma?''

''Yes honey, it's me. Don't move your in a pretty bad position right now but the ambulance will be here soon for you, there going to make you better.''

''Mummy, where's mummy?'' He said with his faint voice.

''She over there honey, don't worry you guys are going to be fine.'' I began to cry and crawled over the side to reach my phone. I dialled Harrison and he answered fairly quickly.

~* Harrison's Point of view *~

Cassidy's mother called me and I knew something was wrong when she greeted me on the phone with a cracked and tearful voice.

''What's wrong Mrs. Cronwell.''

''Cassidy... Declan... the baby. They've been in an accident on Townley Bridge. Please come there, now.''

''Wait, WHAT!'' Before I could ask anything else she hung up on me and I quickly called Robin.

''Is everything fine daddy?'' He asked in a tearful voice, he could easily see something was wrong.

''No mate, Mummy, your brother and the baby are hurt, we need to go and see them.''

''But how, when, where, why!?'' He started crying and I took his hand and led him to the couch.

I pulled him in close and cuddled him.

''Mummy, Declan and the baby have been in a car crash. They are really hurt but grandma called and said we need to meet them at Townly Bridge.''

''But dad-''

''Don't worry mate, everything is going to be fine.''

I cuddled him again and we both began to cry.

~^^*^^~

.... I'm just sorry.

Thank you so much for reading such a long chapter, Chapter 21 of The Cronwell Legacy.

Generation 6, Chapter 20 : Twinbrook

A week passed by and we were all settled in the Twinbrook. Although Starlight Shores is my home town I would choose Twinbrook over it; the nature, scenery and friendly neighbours make it a perfect place to live.

Just as I thought the twins loved the new town too, as soon as we set them down they flew out of door and unto the front porch digging up grass and picking flowers for me.

Harrison on the other hand loved the city part of the town, especially because he worked in that part of the town.

Also, the street we moved unto was truly serene. First of all the neighbours were so hospitable to us and unlike Starlight Shores, the streets actually didn't have chewing gum wedged into it. Sadly though, my parents and uncle Evan's family live across town.

Our house was the first house along the street we lived on and I could tell very much it stood out the most; It's brown brick effect and dark wooden windows really made the house look amazing.

With the twins both growing so fast their personality's developed even stronger.

Declan was an adventurous toddler, forever trying to escape from his stroller and explore the town. His viewpoint of the town was like it was the whole world!

Robin was a very smart, but quite child. He was obsessed with drawing little houses on his drawing table which made me notice he amazingly creative side.

As the weeks went on, we quickly got settled into out new house. It was very similar to our old house but this one has an loft room.

Robin and Declan both are still pretty hard to look after and with Harrison and I going back to work in just a year, it's going to be even harder.

''How's my little Dec Dec?''

''I'm fine mummy, but I'm tired.'' I snuggled him and Harrison and I took them to their nursery.

''Goodnight baby, sleep tight.'' I kissed him and he tugged back at me.

''Don't let the bed bugs bit me mummy....'' He slowly said with his high voice.

''Don't worry honey, mummy won't let them bite you.'' I kissed him once and again and kissed Robin to oand went to my room to find Harrison there to.

''Cassidy, how do you like the idea of trying for another child?'' I paused in my daydream and rewind what Harrison said 'try for another child'.

More babies.

''Harrison, you want more children?''

''Yeah! I know the twins are hard but I think once they grow up they'll be a lot of space and time for another child. So can we?''

''Uh...'' I paused to think about it.

More Sickness

More backaches.

And what if we somehow have twins again.

I brushed aside all of my thought and came to a decision.

I pulled Harrison in and kissed him. ''Let's have another baby...''

''Are you sure?''

''One hundred percent.''

Harrison kissed me one more time and before I knew it, we were making out on the bed which led to other things....

~^~

Harrison insisted that we focus on keeping ourselves and the twins healthy. Apparently meditation help to sooth and improve our brain stimulation.

Nope.

That doesn't work at all.

Ten minuets later Declan, Robin and I all fell asleep on the edge of the trampoline. I don't know how I managed to fall asleep and the how the twins managed to fall asleep on me! The last time they fell asleep on me was when they were newborn.

I heard Harrison burst out in laughter at the sight of us three falling asleep so quickly. He ran inside to get a blanket and covered us.

''What an interesting family I have....''

~ A year later.....~

Before we knew it a whole year flew by and the twins were now children. Also Harrison and I were able to go back to work because the twins had after school activities going on until six O'clock in the evening.

Hey, Robin... you do know mum's having another baby right?'' Declan said to Robin.

Robin fell off of his ladder in complete shock. He soon regained his balanced and replied to Declan.

''Wait, WHAT! Mum's having another baby, when did this happen!?'' Robin had so many questions to ask but instead Declan laughed and slapped his back.

''When a man and a woman love each other very much they create a baby.''

''You mean, S-e-x?''

''Yes Robin, Sex. Sexual intercourse.''

''DON'T SAY THE REAL WORD!'' Robin pushed Declan unto his bed and clamped his ears such with his hands.

Thanks for reading Chapter 20 of The Cronwell Legacy.

The reason I'm posting another post so soon is because this post is quite short and boring so it wasn't really worth waiting for, in my opinion.

Also, my good friend Hannah updated her awesome blog :
